The biggest lesson from this trade is that my plan was not specific enough. Next time I want entry, stop, target, and invalidation written before I click anything.

I am trying to separate the chart from the emotion around the move.

The chart looks cleaner if I mark zones instead of exact lines. I want to see how price behaves around the previous reaction area before deciding whether the setup is worth the risk.

The risk side matters more than the direction call here.

I am not treating the first touch as an automatic entry. The plan is to wait for a close, then watch whether the retest accepts above the level or rejects back into the range.

This is close to how I am reading the chart too.

The index level is my filter today. If the broader market cannot hold support, I am less interested in aggressive long setups.
