Rotation matters. If money is leaving growth and moving defensive, a good-looking chart can still struggle.

If the level fails, I would rather accept the idea was wrong than widen the stop.

If the first New York move is a stop sweep, I want to see whether price reclaims the level. That reclaim often gives a cleaner risk point.
