Bearish market calls get attention, but they are not useful unless they come with levels, timing, and invalidation. A prediction without a plan can make traders freeze or short too early. I prefer tracking conditions: breadth deterioration, failed rallies, volatility expansion, and key support breaks. The chart should confirm the thesis.

Completely agree. A bearish thesis without invalidation is just an opinion. Defining the conditions that would confirm or invalidate the view makes it actionable and helps avoid emotional decisions.

The biggest lesson from this trade is that my plan was not specific enough. Next time I want entry, stop, target, and invalidation written before I click anything.

The risk side matters more than the direction call here.
